Switching
Bringing your data with you
Owners run migrations from RepairOps settings, with a preview before anything is saved and an undo window afterwards.
PC Repair Tracker
Upload a PCRT database dump to bring over customers, devices, work orders, notes, invoices, payments, and inventory. A CSV fallback covers customers, devices, and tickets.
RepairDesk
Connect your RepairDesk API key and RepairOps copies customers, devices, tickets, invoices, payments, and inventory. Your RepairDesk plan needs API access.
CSV from any system
Import customers, devices, inventory, and services from CSV files, with column mapping and a dry run before anything is saved.
Good to know before you switch
- Large histories import in the background and can take hours; RepairDesk imports run at roughly an hour per 10,000 records.
- An import can be undone for 30 days, as long as the imported records haven't been edited.
- There is no dedicated importer for RepairShopr or mHelpDesk yet; use CSV for customers, devices, and inventory.
- Photos and quotes from PC Repair Tracker aren't imported.
- Want to keep running your shop software on your own server, the way PC Repair Tracker works? Shop Owner Edition is RepairOps packaged for self-hosting.
